Students
enjoy a rich and stimulating learning experience in an encouraging, disciplined
and secure Islamic environment. Students are motivated to high standards of
excellence. Students’
linguistic skills are exercised in Language Arts and further developed, cross-curricularly,
thru research, oral presentation and critical writing activities. Given their
importance in a child’s academic career, foundational language tools are
taught only by native English speakers from the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.
Harcourt and McGraw-Hill Programs give the students a strong
academic base. English, Math, Science, and Social Studies are taught, as well as
the Islamic curriculum. Weekly enrichment in the Visual Arts, Gym and Computers
round out the children’s learning experience.
Arabic,
Qur’an & Islamic Studies Programs
Back
We accent Arabic, Qur'an & Islamic
Studies.
Along with the regular
standardized academic curriculum, all three will be a part of your child’s
regular daily learning activities. Our Arabic teachers are native speakers
with 10 years of teaching experience. Our Qur’an and Islamic Studies teachers
include a hafitha and graduates of Islamic Studies programs.
Arabic:
Our Arabic program focuses on the four strands of language, reading, writing,
listening, and speaking. The Jordanian curriculum gives a strong progressive
base.
We use the
Arab
Academy
online program for all grades, supplementing the standard curriculum.
This is a fun way for students to strengthen conversation and other
valuable Arabic skills."
Qur’an:
All students engage in an extensive Qur’an program four days a week. They
memorize at least a half juz each school year while learning valuable vocabulary
and Qur’anic comprehension. This insha Allah will give the students a strong
valuable foundation and love for the Book of Allah.
